After you install

  1. Open the app. The setup wizard offers to detect local model servers and to open an example project.
  2. Add a text model: start LM Studio or Ollama on this computer and click Detect local services, or paste an Anthropic API key under Providers.
  3. Create a project, import your plans, and follow the checklist on the project overview.

The getting started guide walks through a full exercise with screenshots.

What “local-first” means here

  • Your projects, documents and generated media are stored on your disk, in folders you choose.
  • The app sends nothing anywhere except to the providers you add. There is no telemetry.
  • With local models (LM Studio, Ollama, ComfyUI and the system voice) it works with no internet connection.
  • API keys for hosted providers are encrypted by your operating system’s keychain.
